[Lightness]
Acrylic on canvas · 50 × 70 cm · 2026
“The wish to lighten life.”
The wish to lighten life is where this painting begins. It comes from those moments when life turns dense, when emotions, thoughts and burdens pile up, and life ends up feeling heavy and hard to hold.
Lightness appears as an invitation to let what weighs fall away, to surrender to the natural movement of life. Not from evasion, but from the possibility of opening yourself to letting go, even when you don't always know what or how.
Between the light filtering in at the far end and the shadows covering the path, the work holds that same tension: what still weighs, and what is beginning to be glimpsed as possible.
